ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The Hood College women's basketball struggled shooting in the first half and fell on the road to Eastern 49-40 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

- The Eagles' biggest lead game came with 8:49 left in the third period 31-10, as Jeriyah Johnson made back-to-back shots for a five-point spurt.
- Hood answered with an 8-0 run to pull within 13 points, as Manning accounted for half the points, but still trailed 31-18 with 3:43 left.
