Rio Muldoon (Prince Frederick, Md./DeMatha Catholic) had four goals and four assists as the Blazers defeated Marymount (Va.) on the road 14-13 in non-conference men's lacrosse action.

How it Happened
- Hood got off to a fast start, scoring two goals seven seconds apart early in the first quarter. Marymount was called for an early penalty and Gilsdorf converted the man-up with an assist from Wiley with 13:06 on the clock. Emanuel Granados (Frederick, Md./Governor Thomas Johnson) won the ensuing face off and scored his first career goal at 12:59 for a two-goal lead.
- The Saints tied the game up several minutes with a pair of goals. Kai Goo scored at 10:04 to cut Hood's lead in half. Marymount won the next face off and Mason Vandawater tied the game 33 seconds later.
- After Wiley put Hood in front with 7:50 remaining in the period, neither team scored for over five minutes. Bryan Seavey (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) made the Saints pay for another penalty at 2:45 to stretch the lead back to 4-2.
- Muldoon's first, with an assist from Michael Hilliard (Easton, Pa./Central Catholic), made it a three-goal lead, before Noah Hill's goal for the Saints with 56 seconds left made it 5-3 at the end of the first.
- Goo and Will Strausbaugh scored for Marymount in the first two minutes and five seconds of the second to tie the game and Gavin Taylorlson gave the Saints their first lead, 6-5, with 11:51 left in the half.
- The lead was short-lived, however. Muldoon scored 47 seconds later to tie the game, starting a four-goal run for the Blazers. The final three goals of the run all came within a span of 61 seconds. Seivert fed Wiley at 5:31 for the lead. Colby Gallagher (Coatesville, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) made it 8-6 off an assist from Muldoon at 4:38. Granados won the next faceoff, got the ground ball and the Blazers quickly played the ball through Seavey to Muldoon in just eight seconds to make it 9-6.
- That score carried over into the third quarter, where Muldoon score Hood's fifth goal in a row to make it 10-6 with 12:48 remaining.
- Chris Bochilo briefly stopped the Blazers run for Marymount, but goals by Jay Lanigan (Merrimack, N.H./Merrimack) and Gilsdorf, both assisted by Muldoon, stretched the lead to 12-7 at 6:02.
- Bochilo struck again and goals by Taylorson and Hill followed to pull the Saints within 12-10 before Seivert took a Muldoon assist with just two seconds left to make it 13-10 after three quarters.
- Marymount slowed down Hood's offense in the fourth quarter and goals from Ciaran Connolly and Taylorson cut the Blazers' lead to 13-12 with 5:49 to play. Two minutes later, Sievert got the Blazers some insurance with help from Wiley.
- Taylorson's fourth, with 1:25 to go gave Marymount a last chance. Taylorson shot wide with 1:01 to play before the two teams traded turnovers, with Muldoon scooping a ground ball with 16 ticks on the clock to preserve the win.
