Men's lacrosse locks down trio of All-Conference nods

With the conclusion of the 2026 men's lacrosse regular season, it was announced that Brennan McKeown (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty), Brandon Hare (Abingdon, Md./The John Carroll), and Calvin Morris (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) were named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference team

McKeown continued his defensive dominance in his second and final year with the team after transferring from Bridgewater College, with his efforts earning him a spot on the Second Team after being an Honorable Mention in 2025. McKeown picked up 35 ground balls and caused 15 turnovers during the season, helping keep shots on goal at a minimum against all levels of competition.

In just his sophomore season, Hare earned his first All-Conference nod as an Honorable Mention. Another defender, this time a short stick defensive midfielder, Hare was a smothering force in the midfield, causing trouble for any opponent attempting to clear the ball and using his speed to quickly help out on defense when needed. Not only did he take the next step in his defensive development, but he also showcased his offensive capabilites by scoring his first career goal against Alvernia this season.

Finally, one of the biggest stories of the season was Morris, who earned an Honorable Mention for his stellar play in goal in his final year. Despite suffering a non-contact injury early in the season, he made a miraculous comeback just a few games later and continued to dominate in net, averaging 11.6 saves-per-game, third in the MACC, despite playing just 10 games in the season. Morris' .604 save percentage leads the conference by a substantial margin and puts him in 11th place across all DIII programs, and his 19-save performance in the team's final game against Eastern was a career-high.

Unfortunately, the team was unable to make the playoffs after falling in the final regular season game, but with a young core of both offensive and defensive players showing signs of fast development, the future of the men's lacrosse team has quite a lot of potential.
