FREDERICK, Md. – The Hood College men's lacrosse team took down the Lions of Albright College at noon on Saturday with a convincing 17-4 win in the contest to earn their second conference win of the season.
Inside the Box Score

Isiac Nafziger (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) both netted three goals each.
Eric Reese (Erie, Pa./McDowell) and Ty Lesnak (Silver Spring, Md./Northwood) had a pair of goals on the day.

How it Happened
It wouldn't take long for the Blazer to get in a groove offensively, as
JT Harich (Point of Rocks, MD./Brunswick) just over 30 seconds into the contest netted a goal to give Hood the early lead.
Shortly after, two early Hood penalties seemed to be a setback defensively, but the Blazers were able to escape unscathed by the Lions offense as the penalties were then released.
The quarter continued, and it was
Dakotah Hawkins (Roanoke, Va/Salem) who fired a shot to give Hood a 2-0 lead.
Hood found a rhythm in their offense, which led to two more goals from Ty Lesnak (Silver Spring, Md./Northwood), and Regan Tesche (Avondale, Pa./Salesianum School) to end the quarter up 4-0.
The second quarter began, and it was more or less the same, as
Alex Odenheimer (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville) joined the fun and netted a goal just over a minute into the second. Shortly after, Tesche found teammate
Eric Reese (Erie, Pa./McDowell), and set him up for a score to extend the Blazers lead, now up 6-0.
Midway through the quarter, featured Preston Workman (Chattanooga, Tenn./Soddy Daisy) finding Isiac Nafziger (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) who fired a shot and found the back of the net.
Albright needed a response and found it in Nick Antonio who fired a shot just under 6 minutes left to get the Lions on the board.
The Blazers were unfazed by the Antonio goal and fired yet another shot, now by
David Lubrano (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink) and got the lead back up to seven.
Seconds remained in the quarter, and as time dwindle down
Deegan Workman (Chattanooga, Tenn./Soddy Daisy) took advantage of a man up possession and fired a shot to give Hood a commanding 9 to 1 lead headed into the half.
Shades of the first quarter early goal happened at the start of the third quarter, and the Lions still faced the aftermath of their penalty and were still down a player.
Regan Tesche (Avondale, Pa./Salesianum School) took advantage and 30 seconds into the third netted yet another goal.
Hood scored four more goals in the quarter, and Albright scored one more time as seconds remained in the quarter. The score was set at 14 to 2, in favor of the Blazers.
The Blazers netted three more goals in the fourth quarter, and despite the Lions efforts, Hood's smothered Albright's attack, and the Blazers offense overwhelmed the Lions defense.
The Blazers ended the game with 17-4 win over the Lions and earned an important second conference win in their season.
For the Opponent
Nick Antonio led the lions in goals with two, while teammate Justin Moroney netted a goal.
