ARLINGTON, Va. - A goal with 3:13 left by Marymount gave the Saints a 10-9 win over Hood College in non-conference women's lacrosse.

- Hood led 8-7 heading into the fourth quarter before goals by the Saints' Kaleigh Dunham and Riley Love gave MMU a 9-8 lead with 10:21 left.
- Wright scored on a free position less than a minute later to tie the match.
- Harper made three saves over the next six minutes before Love found the back of the net with 3:13 left with an assist by Ella Baker to make it 10-9.
- Wright secured the next draw control but Marymount's Hannah Smith stopped a shot from Kayla Russell (Elkton, Md./Northeast) at 2:34. Stanley forced a turnover and Winpigler got the ground ball to reclaim possession.
- After a timeout by Hood, Demaio, who scored on two free position shots earlier, had her third attempt of the day blocked with 1:12 to play, allowing the Saints to hang on.
- Hood trailed 2-0 to open the contest before tying the score at 3-3 with 9:19 to go in the second quarter on a goal by Laney Goldrick (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point). Marymount scored the final three goals of the half, however, to take 6-3 lead.
- The Blazers' offense hit their stride in the third quarter, outscoring the Saints 5-1. Four different players scored for Hood and Demaio's second of the period made it 8-7 heading into the final 15 minutes.
