ELVERSON, Pa. and MOHNTON, Pa. - Hood College's
Tanner Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) shot a two two-day 149 to place sixth at the Alvernia Spring Invitational, split between Stonewall's North Course and LedgeRock Golf Club.
On the Scorecards
- Leonard shot a 75 at Stonewall in the first round, following it up with a 74 at LedgeRock on Tuesday. He tied for the second-best 36-hole score in program history and was one shot off the school record.
- Sam Driscoll (Woodsboro, Md./Walkersville) opened the tournament strong, shooting a 73 to lead Hood on day one. Driscoll finished at 159 after shooting an 86 at LedgeRock. He was 24th on the leaderboard.
- Will Kujawa (Fredericksburg, Md./Massaponax) tied for 35th at 163 after rounds of 79 and 84.
- Brady Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) shot an opening round 77 and finished at 165 in 42nd place.
- Rowan Foose (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) was 53rd after shooting a 179 (83-96).
On the Leadeboards
- There was a three-way tie atop the team standings with York (Pa.), Stevens and Eastern, who all had 607. The Spartans were awarded the victory via a tiebreaker of the fifth scoring golfer on each team.
- Miles Phillion of Stevens was the individual champion after shooting a 142 (68-74).
- The Blazers finished seventh as a team at 636. Hood's 304 in the first round was the third-best 18-hole team score in program history and the 636 over 36 holes tied the program's third best.

- Stonewall's North Course played as a par-70, 6,502-yard course.
- LedgeRock was a par-72, 6,797-yard course.
