FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team did not allow a goal over the final 21:11, helping the Blazers erase a five-goal deficit to defeat visiting Stevenson 15-12 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

- Neither team scored for more than five minutes after that, until Demaio tied the game at 12-12 at 5:25.
- Another three minutes went by without a goal before Demaio broke the deadlock. She got the ball in front of net and darted to the left for what proved to be the game-winner.
- Demaio fed Stanley to make it 14-12 at 1:31 before Stanley scored again with 30 seconds left on an empty net to ice the game.
- The game began with a goal by Gregory just 49 seconds into the action.
- Stevenson's Marisa Massimini tied the game at 12:45, starting a six-goal run for the Mustangs as they appeared to take control of the game.
- A late goal in the first from Stanley cut it to 6-2, but Hood still trailed 9-4 after Kellyann Coccia scored with 4:19 left in the half. Demaio and Abby Burnette (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) scored in the final 2:19 to start the comeback.
