Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team fell 9-0 to the Spartans of York College of Pennsylvania in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.  
Doubles

• The closest call came in second and third doubles. Cori Mark (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) and Mary Emma Guldi (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) fell to Hannah Sult and Bri Serruto 8-1 at No. 2. Lauren Sheffler (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) and Ridley Little (Bristol, Va./Virginia) lost by the same score to Morrissey Walsh and Eleanor Beck at third doubles.

Singles

• Katie Cautero (Hackettstown, N.J./Lenape Valley) took one game in the first set and two in the second set at first singles but fell 6-1, 6-2.
• Kate Haufe (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) lost at second singles to Sult 6-2, 6-1.
