ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Hood College women's lacrosse erased a 7-4 lead to defeat Lebanon Valley College 8-7 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

- Emily Beard scored to give Lebanon Valley College a 7-4 advantage with 2:01 left in the third quarter.
- Hood's defense stood tall after that, holding LVC off the scoreboard over the final 17 minutes. The stand gave the offense time to mount a comeback.
- Wright scored back-to-back goals within 30 seconds during the final minute of the third to cut the Dutchmen lead to one. Hood went into the final quarter trailing by one.
- Russell found the back of the net at 13:55 in the fourth quarter on a free-position attempt to tie the game 7-7.
- Both offenses were silent until Abby Burnette (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) took the lead for the Blazers with 3:23 left on another free-position shot for what proved to be the game-winner.
- Harper made a clutch save with 19 seconds left on a shot by Maria Brandt to secure the win.
- In the first quarter, the Dutchmen took a 2-0 lead before Stanley scored the first goal for the Blazers with 3:21 on the clock.
