An unsuccessful corner by Hood turned into a breakaway on their defensive side and foul to cause a free kick for Eastern.
This set up the Eastern attacker to sneak a shot inside the top-right corner to break the scoreless effort 1-0 in favor of the Eagles.
The match soon leaned in the favor of the opponent's endurance as the second half found the Blazers making prominent defensive stops to keep them in range of a comeback.
