READING, Pa. – The women's soccer team sports their first conference win of the season with their first two goals in conference play this season in the 2-0 effort over Albright on Tuesday night.

Adrianna Escobar (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) scored her first goal of the season while having two shots on goal.
Madison Sheffield (Frederick, Md./Urbana) scored her first goal of the season in the second half.
Brenna Ellenberger (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) made five saves on the night to keep the Lions out of goal. This marks her 10th shutout this season and another school record broken.
How it Happened
Katy Pryzbocki cut through a double team on the Blazers' attacking end in the 34' and found
Alli House (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J./Point Pleasant Beach) in the corner which she then found Escobar sprinting past the goal for a drive by redirection that made it behind the keeper to give the Blazers the lead before half.
Ellenberger had three of her five saves within the first 10 minutes of play in the second half as she made her way through the crowd to punch and clear balls out of harm's way.
In the second half, Hood found themselves with a throw in from
Rachael Low (Fredericksburg, Va./Courtland) with supporting teammates in bounds being heavily covered. Escobar broke towards the ball and fed it back to Low and her long ball kicked from midfield landed 25 yards from the goal. The keeper ran out to meet the ball but was met by Sheffield who lifted into the empty net for the 2-0 slash in the 65'.

Mackenzie Sowers had two shots on goal on the night.
