HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Hood College women's lacrosse team was shut down by Juniata College from start to finish as the Blazers fell 22-3 on the road.

How it Happened
Despite starting off the game with a yellow card, Juniata turned Hood's man advantage on its head, scoring twice on the same penalty kill which started a nine-goal quarter for the Eagles.
The Blazers managed to get on the board when Stanley took advantage of another man-up opportunity they had, but Juniata put up four goals in the quarter to put the road team in a 13-1 deficit at halftime.
Another four-goal quarter for the Eagles was split in half with an
Olivia Pickett (Mount Airy, Md/Linganore High School) score from a free position shot as Hood entered the final frame down 17-2.
Although the Blazers managed to get another one past Juniata's goalie, the Eagles got five more of their own by the final buzzer, soundly defeating Hood 22-3.
For the Opponent
Grace Gibbs finished with four goals and one assist, five ground balls, two caused turnovers, and five ground controls.
Skyler Stevens scored five times.
Analysis
Juniata outshot Hood 38-15.
The Eagles grabbed 20 ground balls, compared to just eight for Hood.
Juniata had a 15-11 edge in draw controls.
