HOBOKEN, NJ. – The Hood College men's volleyball team faced off against No. 3 Stevens Institute of Technology and were swept in three sets.

The Ducks won 25-10, 25-7, 25-3.
Inside the Box Score
Sean Seely (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage High School) led Hood with 3 kills and two aces on the evening.
Gael Bravo (Lanham, Md./Bowie High School) tallied 5 assists and 1 dig for the Blazers.
How it Happened
The Ducks got the ball rolling early scoring 11 straight points in the first set. The Blazers then responded with a score of their own curtesy of
Adam Bartice (Washington, D.C./Woodrow Wilson). Hood and Stevens traded points back and forth for a moment until the Ducks took the first set with a score of 25-10.
Both squads played the second set similar to the first trading points for a short point in time. Stevens then managed to put together two seven point scoring runs that propelled them into taking the second set 25-7.
In the third set the Ducks controlled the set from the get-go allowing for only one kill by Seely. Stevens completed the match winning the third and final set 25-3.
For the Opponent
Connor Feulner led the Ducks with six kills.
Nick Schmidt had 17 assists for Stevens.
Joshua Levandoske recorded two blocks in the match.
