The Blazers would get kills from four different individuals to take an early 7-4 lead in the second set. Arcadia responds with a 10-5 run to lead the Blazers 14-12. Brendan Stutz (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) overpowered an Arcadia blocker to ignite a close battle down the stretch. Points were exchanged via kills until the teams were forced to go to extras where Arcadia was the first to score twice in-a-row to finish off the set..
How it Happened – St. Vincent

Zander Kirchner (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) and Gael Bravo (Lanham, Md./Bowie High School) got to work early as Bravo assisted Kirchner twice to put Hood up 7-6. The squads would exchange the lead back-and-forth until Russell Odor (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) would create offense for the Blazers to take a 14-11 lead. The versatile play of St. Vincent allowed them to stick around and eventually pull away 22-20. A kill by Seely brought the Blazers within one at 23-22, but the Bearcats shut the door on the closest set of the match of 25-22.

Set two was highlighted by a Gael Bravo (Lanham, Md./Bowie High School) service ace and swimming celebration. Bravo also tallied seven assists in the set. The Blazers in set three took advantage of service errors
