FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's lacrosse team dropped home contest against conference opponent York College of Pennsylvania 15-5.

How it Happened
- The Spartans got on the scoreboard early in the first quarter as Micheal Russo found the back of the in the first three minutes of play. Just four minutes later, the Blazers struck back with a goal from Wiley assisted by Muldoon. To close out the last seven minutes of the quarter, York managed to go on a three-goal run to go up 4-1.
- In the opening minutes of the second quarter, Wiley scored another goal to cut the deficit to two goals. Three minutes later York's Davis Fisher put one in to make it 5-2. After another three minutes Muldoon added another to the Blazers' tally after catching a ricocheted shot. Then with four minutes left to go until halftime Jack Grayson scored his first goal of the day for the Spartans. Heading into the third quarter the score was 6-3 in favor of York
- Starting out the second half York put in two early goals, then McDermott scored his first goal of the night to cut the Spartan's lead to just four points. Going through the last six minutes of the quarter the Spartan's knocked down three more goals to gain an 11-4 lead going into the final quarter of play.
- In the fourth quarter the Spartan's added on to their scoring run from the third as Cory Bergmann scored his third goal of the night. Following up the goal Connor Flok (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) put one in the back of the net for Hood. With just under four minutes remaining in the game York added on three more goals to cap off the scoring at 15-5.

- Micheal Russo and Jack Grayson each finished with two goals and one assist to lead the Spartans.
- Cory Bergmann had a hat trick for York.
