FREDERICK, Md. - Multiple Blazers break records in Saturday morning's Blazer Blitz. This meet took place at Utica Park and was an "All Hood, All Blue" event.

On the Course

Aylene Noy (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) led the Blazers with a record-breaking time of 15:40.4 on the 4,000-meter course, finishing third overall. She outdid her previous program record by over 30 seconds. 
 
Promise Green (Monrovia, Md./Linganore) ran an impressive final stretch, passing multiple runners in the process, to take 14^th place. She ran 18:03.1 and put her name in the record book with the 7^th best time for this distance in program history. Samantha Smith () finished right behind her to take 15^th in the race and 8^th in the record book; she ran 18:07.4. 
Marin Bartman (Middletown, Md./Middletown) led a trio of runners who finished within the Top 25, taking 21^st  in 18:40.4. This performance earned her the 10^th spot in Blazer's history for a 4,000-meter course. Rosa Olivar (Beltsville, Md./High Point Senior) claimed 22^nd in 18:43.4 and Briley Sanford (Adamstown, Md./Tuscarora) ran a 18:51.9 for 25^th. Tianna White (Silver Spring, Md./James Hubert Blake) finished strong in her first Blazer Blitz to take 36^th, running 21:55.8.

Winners and Team Scoring

California (Pa.) won the team crown with 31 points. 

California (Pa.) had the individual champion in Madeline Curtis, who ran a time of 15:21.4.

Hood placed second with 58 points.
