FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Men's golf lands in second at the Golden Oaks Shootout as
Will Kujawa (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) finishes fourth with
Mac Arida (Gambrills, Md./Crofton) and
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) finishing in the Top 15 in the 36-hole tournament hosted by Arcadia ending on Monday afternoon.
On the Scorecards
Will Kujawa (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) shot a 146 to tie for fourth in individuals after playing clean golf to end the tournament, with only two bogeys and utilizing three birdies to achieve his 71.
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) shot a 77 and 74 completing his first collegiate 36 holes to tie for 12
th . Kohut only has one round above 80 in tournament play this fall.
Mac Arida (Gambrills, Md./Crofton) sneaks into the Top 15 with a career-best 36 holes score of 151 and a tie for 14
th . After a tough start in round one, in round two Arida sunk four birdies in a row on holes 5 through 8 and added one more on 11 to cap off a career-best 71 on the round.
Brady Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) put up his season's best work on a two-day tournament and love for the course with a 155 and his first 76 since last fall at this very event.
Nathan Leppo (Finksburg, MD/Westminster) shot a 81 in round one and tied his personal best from last week at 75 for 156 and land inside the Top 25 at 23
rd.
Patrick Gogarty (Dagsboro, Del./Indian River) shot a 83 and 76 good enough for 159 and 27
th on the tournament.
On the Leaderboard
Drew places first as a team shooting two rounds under 300 as a team and two strokes under par.
Elliot Parker finished with a seven stroke lead and two rounds under 70 to win.
Hood finished 2
nd of nine teams.

The squad will travel an hour north to Waynesboro, PA for the Mason-Dixon Classic at the Waynesboro Country Club over homecoming next weekend.
