ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Hood College women's soccer team was unable hold off a strong offensive showing from Lebanon Valley, falling 3-0 to the Dutchmen at Herbert Field Wednesday afternoon.

Maddy Ereso (Richmond, Va./Glen Allen) and
Adrianna Escobar (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) led the team in shots with two.
Hannah Loughry (Odenton Md./Arundel Senior) provided five saves in her first match between the pipes.
How it Happened
The first half was bend don't break until Lebanon Valley opened the scoring in the 32nd minute when Abrielle Miller converted a right-footed shot from the back of the penalty box into the lower right corner. The Flying Dutchmen added another just before halftime, as Gabby Hansson finished a cross from Alison Sepkovic to make it 2-0.
Hood showed an uptick of offensive play in the second half, in with shots from Ereso,
Zoey Hicks (Halethorpe, Md./Catonsville), and Escobar up but no dice.
Lebanon Valley sealed the match in the 75th minute with a third goal from Naomi Bowman, capitalizing on a deflected ball inside the box.
The Blazers played clean and left the match without a card.

Addison Zielenieski earned the shutout with two saves.
