NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – Garrett Cox (Glen Allen, VA/Glen Allen) for the Men's basketball team was selected as MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week as The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending December 14, 2025. A total of 12 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Dec. 8, 2025 to Dec. 14, 2025.

Garrett Cox (Glen Allen, VA/Glen Allen) delivered a dominant performance to lead Hood to a statement 101-75 win over Shenandoah. The graduate forward posted 24 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, recording a double-double while anchoring the Blazers on both ends of the floor. Cox scored 15 points during a key stretch late in the first half, helping Hood close the gap and seize momentum heading into the break.
