NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – Maggie Grijalva (Fullerton, Ca./Anaheim Lady Ducks AAA) earns MAC Women's Ice Hockey Defensive Player of the Week as the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending November 30, 2025. A total of eight student-athletes were recognized for performances from Nov. 24, 2025 to Nov. 30, 2025.

Grijalva backstopped Hood to the program's ?rst-ever win over Lebanon Valley with a stellar 45-save performance in a 3–1 victory. She kept LVC off the board at even strength and denied all four of the Dutchmen's power-play opportunities. Her poise and consistency in net anchored a defensive effort that delivered a milestone win for the Blazers.
