FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College women's lacrosse team dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth match to No. 8 York College of Pennsylvania 22-1.
Inside the Box Score
- Julia Gregory (Sussex, N.J./Vernon Twp.) was the only goal scorer for Hood, and she also won seven draws.

How it Happened
- The Spartans started the game off with a 9-0 run. However, following York's seventh goal Gregory won her 100th draw control of the season. After reaching this accomplishment Gregory would go on to total for 105 draws won after the game was over. At this point in time Gregory has a career total of 226 draws and counting.
- Now getting back to game, in the second quarter York would go on to tack on five more goals before halftime. As both teams headed back to their respective huddles the Spartans were up 14-0.
- Beginning the second half of the game York decided to pull their starting goalie for Audrey Simoes. Adding on to the York lead the Spartans' very own Juliana Silvernail and Zoe Kluegel added two more gain a 16-point edge. Succeeding, York's two goal run Stanley found a cutting Gregory who put the ball in the back of the net preventing the shut out. As the rest of the quarter played out the Spartans netted two more to make it 18-1 heading into the fourth.
- In the fourth and final quarter of the game York managed to add four more to their lead, ultimately making it 22-1 in favor of the Spartans.

- The Spartans had a leading edge on ground balls 19-3.
- York had a slight advantage on draw controls with 14 compared to Hood's 11.
For the Opponent
- Zoe Kluegel led the Spartans with five goals and an assist in the game.
- Sofie Steel had four points with three goals and an assist.
