ASTON, Pa. - The Hood College field hockey team traveled to take on the Knights of Neuman University, coming away with a strong 4-2 victory.

How It Happened
Snelsire got the Blazers offense rolling early into the 1st quarter with a goal that was assisted by
Ellie Dainton (Mays Landing, NJ./Saint Joseph Academy). Snelsire earns her first collegiate goal.
The Blazers offense wouldn't stop there, quickly responding with another goal by
Emma Numme (Shrub Oak, NY/Lakeland), to make the lead 2-0.
Kylie Roessler joined the party in the 2nd quarter adding another score to make it 3-0 that was assisted by
Bianca Scally (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Thousand Oaks).
The Knights stopped the bleeding by chipping into the Blazer's lead, making it 3-1 on a penalty stroke by Cadence Conti, leading into the half.
The Blazers, looking for the dagger against the Knights of Neumann, quickly respond in the 3rd quarter on a penalty stroke by
Kate Haufe (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park), making it 4-1.
The Knights, fighting to stay in contention with the Blazers, fired off a goal late into the 4th quarter courtesy of Cadence Conti, to make the score 4-2. However, the Blazers quick offensive start set the tone earlier for the game, overwhelming Neuman, and holding firm when the Knights attempted a comeback.
Allie Wallin (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) had five saves in the contest today to help the Blazers earn the win. Wallin earned her second win of the season.
