NEWTOWN, Pa. (Conference News) – Sofie Ancona (Grosse Point Farms, Mi./Saint Clair Shores Saints) earns MAC Women's Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season as the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending January 4, 2026. A total of 10 student-athletes were recognized for performances from Dec. 15, 2025 to Jan. 4, 2026.

MAC Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week

Ancona kept her strong offensive pace with three goals and four assists as Hood swept Framingham State. She scored twice in the series opener, including the game-winning goal just 12 seconds into overtime for a 4-3 victory. In game two, Ancona broke open a tie with a solo effort and added two assists in a 5-1 win.
