FREDERICK, Md. – Senior
Julia Gregory (Sussex, N.J./Vernon Twp.) hit the century mark in goals with her 100th career in a 16-2 win over the Monarchs of King's College (Pa.) on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
It wouldn't take long for the Blazers offense to get hot to start this contest, as
Menna Salem (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) got the party started just over a minute into the contest to give Hood a 1-0 lead.
Just 22 seconds later, Maggie Merrill (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) joined in on the fun and found the back of the net with a goal of her own to give the squad an earlier 2-0 advantage.
King's settled into the contest, but were unable to find the back of the net.
The Blazers continued to press forward and stayed aggressive offensively, as
Emma Massey (Felton, Del./Lake Forest) and
Geneva DiRe (Lebanon Township, N.J./Voorhees) netted two more goals, as Hood extended it's lead 4 to 0.
Merrill fired in her second goal of the game, followed by another quick goal scored from
Meghan Welker (Frederick, Md./Walkersville).
With over two minutes remaining in the quarter,
Julia Gregory (Sussex, N.J./Vernon Twp.) would inch closer to the her 100
th career goal as she strike gold with a goal, and was just one away from 100.
The Blazers started fast in the first quarter and was looking to carry that momentum with them into the second quarter with a 7-0 lead.
As time passed in the second quarter, Gregory had her moment and netted her second goal of the game to reach 100 on her career.
The Blazers showed shades of the first quarter through the second quarter and went into the break up 12 to 0.
Hood added two more goals before King's responded with goal of their own.
Unfazed by the Monarch's goal, the Blazers pressed forward, and headed into the fourth quarter with a commanding lead.
The Blazers started the game fast, and ended the game strong with a compelling 16 to 2 win over King's .

Sydney Stratton and Emilee Schultz both netted goals in the game.
