ARLINGTON, Va. – The Hood College women's soccer team was shut out by United East dominant Marymount University 1-0 at Long Bridge Park on Tuesday evening.

How it Happened
The Blazers decided to strike first and early as
McKenna Bishop (Johnson City, Tenn./Mount Hebron (Md.)) took a couple shots at the Marymount goalkeeper. Then in the 16
th minute of the match, the Saints' Eleanor Keough managed to sneak one past DeRenzis and put Marymount up 1-0 heading into halftime.
As Hood worked hard to regain an even score, the game started to get more physical as each team found themselves with yellow cards. In the second half Hood racked up five shot attmeps but were unable to find the back of the net. Then as the final buzzer sounded, the scoreboard read 1-0 in favor of Marymount.

Eleanor Keough scored the lone goal for the Saints.
Mara Dufour made one save.
Daniela Carrillo-Torres was given a yellow card.
