SALISBURY, Md.--The top-ranked Salisbury University men's
lacrosse team registered a 26-1 Capital Athletic Conference victory
over the Hood College Blazers Monday afternoon to remain undefeated
on the season.
Hood drops to 0-8 overall, 0-3 in the CAC, while the Sea Gulls
move to 9-0, 4-0 CAC.
Hood's lone goal of the contest came on a man-advantage
opportunity in the first quarter. Will Oconis assisted on Jason
Anderson's team-leading 10th goal of the season at the 5:10 mark.
Sam Hofmann was credited with 18 saves in defeat as the Sea
Gulls outshot Hood, 68-7. Oconis also won seven faceoffs for the
Blazers.
Hood returns to action Thursday at CAC rival Catholic University
at 2 p.m.
