YORK, Pa.--Rod Hendrickson of the Hood College men's lacrosse
team (0-3, 0-3 CAC) scored the first two goals of his Blazer career
Sunday in a 20-2 loss to the York College Spartans (2-1, 1-0 CAC).
Hendrickson netted the first of his two unassisted scores
at the 5:13 mark of the first quarter and added a second with 9:31
to go in the fourth quarter.
York tallied seven goals in the first quarter, five in the
second and four apiece in the third and fourth quarters. In all, 11
different players scored for York, led by Kyle Henniger's four-goal
effort.
Sam Hofmann stopped 19 shots in three quarters of
action, while Nicholas O'Brien made one save and allowed four
goals in the final quarter.
The Blazers return to action Wednesday at Salisbury University
for a 4 p.m. CAC contest.
