DOVER, Del.--Jason Anderson of the Hood College men's lacrosse
team (0-10, 0-6 CAC) registered his seventh multi-goal game of the
spring Friday in an 11-3 loss to the Wesley College Wolverines
(6-3, 3-2 CAC).
The Blazers limited the Wolverines to just one first quarter
goal but Wesley posted five tallies in the second quarter to
take a 6-1 lead at the break. Anderson scored an unassisted goal
three minutes into the second period for Hood's lone first half
score.
Wesley would go on to score the game's next five goals before
the Blazers notched back-to-back scores within a span of 19 seconds
late in the fourth quarter. Anderson's second goal of the afternoon
at the 1:33 mark gave him 19 for the season, breaking his own
single season scoring record of 18 set last spring. Miner's tally
was the first of his career in the blue and grey.
Sam Hofmann turned away 15 Wolverine shot attempts on the
afternoon.
Hood returns to action Wednesday at Shenandoah University for a
7 p.m. nonconference tilt.
