BALTIMORE, Md.--First-year Amy Hagerdon of the Hood College volleyball team (5-12) registered her third collegiate double-double with team-highs of 16 digs and 14 assists in a 3-0 loss (11-25, 13-25, 17-25) at Johns Hopkins University (12-11) Thursday evening in nonconference action.

Sophomore Ashley Beall notched a team-high five kills while senior Kristina Straub and sophomore Brittany Lethbridge tallied three kills apiece. Senior Chelsea Weaver contributed eight digs while first-year Ashley Whaley chipped in a pair of kills and seven digs.

The Blazers return home to Gambrill Gym Tuesday for the first time since Sept. 28 when Hood hosts Capital Athletic Conference rival Frostburg State University at 7 p.m.
