STEVENSON, Md.--The Hood College field hockey team (3-10, 0-6 CAC) suffered a 5-0 Capital Athletic Conference setback to the Stevenson University Mustangs (5-11, 2-4 CAC) Tuesday evening.

The Mustangs scored three goals in the first half and two in the second en route to their second CAC win of the season. Leigh Willing and Ariella Hopp both scored twice while Kaitlyn May added her 12th goal of the season for SU.

Hood's Michelle Buhrman fired off the Blazers' only two shots on the night, including one on cage, while Miriah Stone and Tatiana Puhnaty came up with one defensive save apiece. Ashley Stennett tallied four saves in defeat.

Hood has a pair of home games remaining; the Blazers host Wilson College Friday at 4 p.m. and York College (Pa.) Tuesday at 4 p.m.
