Box Score

FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College men's lacrosse team (4-5, 1-3 CAC) lost to the No. 2 Salisbury University Sea Gulls (10-0, 3-0 CAC) by a count of 25-1 Wednesday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference game at Thomas Athletic Field.

Junior Corey Roberts notched his 12th goal of the season in the first quarter to stop a string of three straight Sea Gull scores. Sophomore Alex Engler collected his second assist of the season on the score.

But the Blazers would settle for the lone tally on the afternoon as 13 different players scored for Salisbury. SU outshot the Blazers, 44-14, on the day and won 18 of the 28 face-offs in the game.

Hood's Randolph Clark was credited with 10 face-off wins and scooped nine ground balls. All three Blazer goalkeepers saw time between the pipes and combined for six saves on the afternoon.

The Blazers hit the road Saturday for a nonconference matchup at Washington & Jefferson College at 5 p.m.
