Box Score SELINSGROVE, Pa.--Junior Joey O'Hara netted a pair of goals for the Hood College men's lacrosse team (1-4) in a 7-2 nonconference defeat at the hands of the Susquehanna University Crusaders (2-2) Tuesday evening.
O'Hara netted single tallies in the third and fourth quarters to bring his team-leading total on the season to six. Alex Engler dished his team-best fifth assist on O'Hara's first score while Chris Wilbur notched his fourth assist of the season on O'Hara's fourth-quarter goal.
Randolph Clark had another stellar performance at the face-off "x", winning nine of his 10 attempts for the Blazers. James Weger forced a pair of turnovers on defense while Engler, Zachary Speights, Adam Patterson and Cody Mai also caused Crusader miscues.
Joseph McCulloh made the start in the net and rejected five shots in the first quarter while John Martin patrolled the cage for the remaining three periods and stopped 15 shots.
Susquehanna's John Kerrigan registered three goals and an assist while Connor Moran contributed a man-up goal and two assists.
Hood returns to Thomas Athletic Field Friday for a 3:30 p.m. matchup against Neumann University.
