Hood's five goals were the most in a conference match since they scored five against former Capital Athletic Conference rival Gallaudet in 2009. It also gave the Blazers 10 goals in the past two matches, the most since scoring 12 in a two-win stretch in 2010.
Demich's consecutive multi-goal efforts are the most since Eric Diehl began the 2011 season with a pair of two-goal performances.
With back-to-back shutouts, Hood has not allowed a goal in 198:10 of action. It is also the first consecutive shutouts the Blazers had three straight clean sheets in 2011.
Hood will look to keep its momentum going when the Blazers travel to Stevenson on October 8 for a 7 p.m.
