ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Hood College Hailey Poisal stopped 18 shots in a 3-0 loss at Cedar Crest in non-conference field hockey action. 

How it Happened

• The two teams were scoreless until midway through the first half, when Annalise Unger broke through for the Falcons in the 20th minute. 
• Hannah Gouck scored in the 32nd minute to put the Blazers in a 2-0 hole at halftime and Mercedes Melo put the contest out of reach in the second half. 

Notes

• Poisal entered the day fifth in Division III in saves per game at over 14 per contest and raised her average with the performance.
