FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's basketball team dropped a 74-43 final to Shenandoah in non-conference action.

How it Happened
- The first quarter was limited offensively on both sides. The teams were shooting under 39 percent (5-of-13) just over five minutes into the game. The Hornets outscored the Blazers 6-2 over the final 4:30 of the quarter to take a 14-7 lead at the end of one.
- The second quarter saw the Hornets outscore Hood 18-6. Seven Shenandoah players scored in this period, as the Hornets seven-point first quarter lead surged to a 19-point lead to head into the break, 32-13.
- In the third quarter, the teams struggled offensively as the teams were only able to score four points each six minutes into the period (36-17). The Hornets picked up the scoring after free throws by Ragan Johnson pushed the lead to 20 points, 37-17, with 4:34 left in the quarter. The Hornets lead didn't drop below 18 points the rest of the way as the Hornets cruised to their eighth straight win.

- Shenandoah held an advantage 46-10 in points in the paint and 19-7 in second chance points.
- The Hornets had 13 steals on Hood's 26 turnovers, resulting in a 33-16 advantage in points off turnovers.

- Shawnise Campbell, Terese Greene and Olivia Weinel finished with 10 points each. Campbell went 4-of-7 from the field and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
