FREDERICK, Md. – The Hood College men's lacrosse team survived an overtime thriller against Farleigh-Dickinson University-Florham by downing the Devils 11-10.

How It Happened
- Hood got on the scoreboard first after two-goal run with strikes coming from Muldoon off a McDermott assist and Hand from Gilsdorf to take the early 2-0 lead with 9:35 remaining in the first quarter.
- FDU-Florham's Robert Nawrocki ended the scoring run with his first from Nicholas Perillo to lessen the lead to one with 8:40 on the clock.
- Scott scored off a McDermott assist and Hand netted a goal off a Jay Lanigan pass to extend the Blazer lead to 4-1 with 3:41 left in the quarter.
- The Devils rounded out first quarter scoring with a Michael Stewart tally to bring the score within two going into the second quarter 4-2.
- The Blazers opened second quarter action with tallies from Gilsdorf and McDermott off a Muldoon assist to push the score to 6-2 with 12:23 remaining.
- FDU-Florham answered with a three-goal run during the second and the beginning of the third quarter with tallies from Lucas Berghahn, Zane Johnston and Stewart to bring the Devils within one 6-5 with 10:00 left in the third quarter.
- Wiley and Stewart exchanged goals to make the score 7-6 in favor of the Blazers with 2:37 remaining in the third.
- A fast-break goal by Hilliard off a pass from Hand gave the Blazers an 8-6 lead with 1:24 left in the left on the clock.
- McDermott opened the fourth quarter with a man up goal to take the 9-6 lead with 14:44 remaining in regulation.
- FDU-Florham fought back to take the 10-9 lead after a four-goal run with two goals from Drew Gallagher and one from Stewart and Johnston each with 1:07 remaining.
- Wiley scored his second of the day with 27 second remaining to tie the game and force overtime against the Devils as the score was knotted at 10 each.
- Halfway through the overtime period, Wiley found the back of the net after McDermott picked up a loose ground ball to secure the 11-10 overtime victory over FDU-Florham.
