ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Hood College men's lacrosse falls 11-5 at Lebanon Valley in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opener.

How It Happened
- Lebanon Valley started the game with a four-goal run as Jake Bollinger and Trey Ralston netted one each and Alex Kiviniemi scored twice to take the 4-0 lead with 1:47 remaining in the first.
- Hood answered back with three straight goals to cut the lead to 4-3 in favor of the Flying Dutchmen. Hitchens scored first for the Blazers off a faceoff win then McDermott found the back of the net off an Aidan Glisdorf pass with 56 seconds remaining in the first quarter.
- Glisdorf took advantage of the man-up opportunity by scoring to bring the score within one 4-3 with 27 seconds left in the first. Lebanon Valley answered the 3-0 Blazer run with a goal six seconds left on the clock as Kiviniemi scored his second of the game to push the lead to 5-3 going into the second.
- Gallagher started the second quarter scoring off a Rio Muldoon assist to bring the game within one 5-4 with 13:16 left on the clock.
- The Flying Dutchmen took the 7-4 lead going into halftime as they scored the final two goals of the first half both coming from Bollinger.
- Lebanon Valley picked up right where they left off scoring the first two goals of the third quarter. Kivinemi completed his hat trick off an assist from Carson Frey and then Evan Federowicz to push the score to 9-4 with 2:36 remaining in the third.
- Scott ended the Blazer scoring drought with a strike off a pass from Muldoon with 31 seconds left in the third to bring the score to 9-5 going into the final quarter.
- Lebanon Valley scored the only goals in the fourth quarter with both coming from Frey to secure the 11-5 victory.
For the Opponent
- Alex Kiviniemi led the Flying Dutchmen with four goals and one assist for five points.
- Jake Bollinger scored three times and dished out one assist while Carson Frey added two goals.
- Colin Hughes and Ben Weathersby led the defense with two caused turnovers each. Weathersby picked up a team-high four ground balls.
- Nick Serrano recorded 20 saves in goal and played the full 60 minutes.
