FLEETWOOD, Pa. - All five members of the Hood College men's golf lineup finished within four strokes of each as the Blazers shot the second-best round in school history in the opening round of the Golden Oaks Shootout.
On the Scorecards
- Tanner Leonard (Berlin, MD/Stephen Decatur) shot the best round for a Hood golfer this fall with a 75, tying for 10th.
- Sam Driscoll (Woodsboro, MD/Walkersville) was one stroke back in a tie for 12th.
- Will Kujawa (Fredericksburg, MD/Massaponax) and Rowan Foose (Arlington, VA/Yorktown) turned in matching rounds of 78 and are tied for 24th. Kujawa's round was a career best.
- Brady Leonard's (Berlin, MD/Stephen Decatur) 79 tied him for 28th.
Team Scoring and Leaderboards
- Hood's 307 was four strokes behind the Blazers' three-year-old school record, putting them in fifth place through 18 holes.
- Fletcher Bolda shot a four-under 68 to lead Arcadia to the first-round lead with a 294.
