After a tightly contested first half, Kelsey Welsh managed to get a shot past Brown to open the scoring for York with less than three minutes to play before halftime.Â
In the third quarter, Sara Pique scored off a penalty corner to double the Spartans' lead.Â
With less than three minutes in the game, Welsh added an extra insurance goal with her second of the game before Katie Martino added an extra tally from a penalty corner at the end of regulation.Â

Libby Wild and Anna Simoes finished the night with assists, while Pique had an assist on top of her goal.Â
