How It happened
The game kicked off with both teams showing some solid defense. No goals were scored in First quarter, the second quarter continued to be a defensive battle. Both teams fought for control, but the score remained at 0-0.
Towards the end of the third period, just as the clock struck 0:02, Stevenson was awarded a crucial penalty corner which allowed Emma Gladstein of Stevenson to score the only goal of the game, with an assist from Lauren Schulz.
In the final period, Hood College was determined to find an equalizer, but the Blazers were stopped by Stevenson's defense.
