READING, Pa. - Hood College's men's lacrosse team fought back from down 8-2 to defeat Albright College 14-12 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.

How it Happened
- The biggest lead for Albright came with 10:28 in the second quarter, after James Elko scored to give the Lions a six-goal lead. The Blazer defense tightened over the remainder of the contest, limiting Albright to just four more scores over the remaining 48:28.
- The stingy defense gave Hood's offense the opportunity to close the game on a 12-4 run to claim the victory.
- At 3:34 in the second quarter, Gilsdorf scored with an assist from Latif Yacoubou Adam (Eldersburg, Md./Century) to stop the Albright momentum. Hood won the faceoff and Wiley scored in three seconds to cut the score 8-4 at halftime.
- Albright struck first in the third quarter at 12:57 with a goal from Jay Shifflet on an assist from Nick Antonio to give the Lions a 9-4 advantage. Five seconds later, the Blazers answered with a goal from Michael Hilliard (Easton, Pa./Central Catholic) on an assist from Jay Lanigan (Merrimack, N.H./Merrimack).
- Hood then went on a four-goal run to tie the game at 9-9 with the final goal of the run scored by Wiley with 2:28 left in the third quarter. Albright scored the last goal of the third quarter with 41 seconds left to give them a one-goal lead.
- Just 27 seconds into the final quarter, Wiley scored to tie the game at 10-10. The Blazers took their first lead of the game at 10:18 in the fourth with a goal by Colby Gallagher (Coatesville, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) on an assist from Seavey. Wiley scored his fifth goal of the game on a man advantage with an assist from Gilsdorf to put the Blazers up by two.
- The lead was short-lived, as Albright scored two goals in 24 seconds to tie the game 12-12 with 6:20 remaining. With 3:29 left in the game, the Blazers took back the lead with a goal scored by Seavey.
