Badour's overtime game-winner stretches win streak to five

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Hood College's Natalie Badour (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) scored less than a minute into overtime to give the Blazers' their fifth-straight field hockey victory, and second in extra time, with a 1-0 win at McDaniel. 

Game Winner
At 60:50, Morgan Hackett (Hampstead, Md./Hereford) passed the ball from the left sideline into the center where Badour knocked it into cage to break the scoreless tie. 

Inside the Box Score 
Richana Brown (Dover, Del./Dover) had five saves in the shutout. 

Madeline Moreno (Mansfield, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) made three defensive saves and Bailey Oberholtzer (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) added another. 

How it Happened
In the second period, Moreno and Oberholtzer combined for three defensive saves off three consecutive corners for the Green Terror in a span of 23 seconds. 

Analysis
Hood was outshot 13-2 in the game, but Brown and and the Blazers' back line made nine saves.

McDaniel held a 13-4 edge in penalty corners.
