Â
As both teams took the field and began play, the Blazer's defense did not allow a shot from the Griffins and created bountiful scoring opportunities for Hood. Â
In the second half the Blazers defense stood tall as the Griffins still were still unable to get a shot off as the third quarter concluded.Â
Â
Then in the final quarter of play Gwenedd Mercy finally was able to get two shots off with one leading to a late game goal; however, it would be Medina to ice the game for Hood after she was fed a dish from Snelsire and put the Blazers up 4-1 at the end of regulation. Â
