How it Happened -
The Blazers put the pressure on the Colonels outnumbering them with shots but left with nothing after over 12 minutes of shots off the post and good goalie play by the opposing Joseph Marino.
With time running out in the first period of regulation, Jay Lanigan (Merrimack, N.H./Merrimack) received a pass from McDermott and mustered it by the goalie to break the draw.
Connor Flok (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) had a goal taken away with a crease violation that would've put the Blazers up 2-0. Luckily, Muldoon would fire and score to get the Blazers that lead.
Lanigan would strike again by receiving a cross field pass from Isiac Nafziger (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) to create the four-point deficit followed by back-to-back goals by Robbie Wiley (York, Pa./Central York) to increase it to 6-0.
The second half started from the first career goal from John Sanick (Catonsville, Md./Catonsville) after he received the assist from behind the net and continued the streak for the Blazers.
Flok would get another chance to score as he put the 8-0 goal into the back of the net and would celebrate McDermott's 100th career point on the assist.
Later the Colonels would find life as a fastbreak goal by Austin Sosnovik would find it's way right under the crossbar to put the score 9-2. Wilkes would continue to climb back into the game as they would score their fifth unanswered goal before the horn sounded at the end of the third period, making the mark 9-5.
