WILMINGTON, Del. - The men's golf team had five Blazers finish in the Top 15 to place second at the White Clay Creek Country Club in The Daily Double hosted by Albright on Thursday afternoon.
On the Scorecards
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) led the Blazers by shooting an 81 to tie for 6
th on the 18-hole outing. Kohut managed to take Par 5s and keep them to five strokes to avoid the damage.
Will Kujawa (Fredericksburg, Va./Massaponax) followed him with an 83 good enough for 9
th place and limited his time in double bogey land.
Patrick Gogarty (Dagsboro, Del./Indian River) and
Nathan Leppo (Finksburg, MD/Westminster) were one stroke behind Kujawa and tied for 11
th. Leppo birdied back-to-back holes right after the turn.
Brady Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) shot an 85 to stay at 15
th while tied for the lead in birdies with three on the day.
Cameron Swan (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) took sole possession of 17
th with an 87 while
Cole Beakes () shot his 88 to place right behind Swan at 18
th.
On the Leaderboards
Albright placed first as a team with a team score of 313, 19 strokes ahead of Hood.
Albright's Oliver Liljeblad and Penn St. Berks' Peyton Moyer shot a 76 to land at the top of the individual leaderboard.
Hood placed 2
nd out of 7 teams competing shooting a 332.
Analysis
Hood has the second highest par total 43 pars to leading Albright's 51.
Hood tied Albright with the most Birdies at nine.
