How it Happened
After a scoreless first period, Randolph-Macon's Llana Thach scored an unassisted goal about four minutes into the second. Not long thereafter, Brown saved yet another shot, following the Jackets' third penalty corner. Brenna McLean cleaned up the rebound for the 2-0 lead.
Analysis
Hood was outshot 16-14 and the Jackets held a 6-3 edge in corners.
