FREDERICK, Md. – With the conclusion of the 2025 men's soccer season, it was announced the Cristian Topovich (Frederick, Md./Oakdale), Jackson Quenzer (Westminster, Md./Gerstell Academy), and Adam Labows (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown) were named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference team.

Topovich, a junior transfer from Alvernia, had an immediate impact, scoring two goals himself and helping on two others in the team's opening match victory over Wilson College. Finishing the season with three goals and eight assists, Topovich was an essential playmaker to the Blazers' attack as they reached the playoffs for the first time since 2016, earning himself a spot on the Second Team.

Quenzer, a senior captain, was a leader in the defensive half of the field as he earned an Honorable Mention. The defender made a plethora of key tackles deep in his own zone to prevent opponents from having any easy looks and started all 18 games for Hood this season for the second consecutive year.

Labows, a first year, was outstanding in net, finishing the season with six clean sheets, two of which came against conference rivals. Labows made several incredible saves to help the Blazers hold on to one-goal wins against Alvernia and Albright, impressing enough coaches in the conference to not only earn a spot on the All-Conference team as an Honorable Mention, but was named Rookie of the Year for Hood's first honor since 2016.

Although the Blazers were knocked out in the first round of the MAC Commonwealth Championships, the future is certainly bright with several key players returning for next season.
