LEBANON, Pa. – The men's golf team worked their way to a fifth place finish in the field of 13 teams in the 18 Hole Lebanon Valley Spring Invitational at the Lebanon Valley Country Club on Monday afternoon.
On the Scorecards
Nathan Leppo (Finksburg, MD/Westminster) tied for 11
th with his 80 finish including a span of four straight pars on the front nine and the back nine to lead the Blazers.
Rowan Foose (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) followed tied for 24
th including a birdie sunk on the 16
th hole for his 82.
Cole Beakes () with the 83 tied for 29
th and took two strokes to take down the par 3 Hole 9 at the turn.
Caleb Dolan (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) matched Beakes with a 41-42 split between the front and back nine and earned eight pars on the day.
Cameron Swan (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) only four strokes off the Blazer lead rounded them out with a birdie on Hole 2 and pars on three of the last five holes.
On the Leaderboard
Austin Fulton of Moravian University stood alone at the top shooting even at 72. Three strokes ahead of the next closest golfer in the field.
Moravian took the team cup with a score of 310 combined. Four of five of their participants landed in the Top 15.
Hood lands in fifth with a score of 328, one stroke behind Albright College and two strokes ahead of DeSales.
