ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. –
Cameron Swan (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) shoots a career low 76 on the second day of the McDaniel Spring Invitational including a hole in one from deep as the Blazers finish fourteenth on the weekend at The Bridges Golf Course hosted by McDaniel College.
On the Scorecards
Swan did not lead the Blazers but shot an 85 on day one and his career mark on day two for a 48
th place finish and moved 19 spots with his day two performance. The Sunday round included birdies on Hole 5, 13, and 15 while the biggest shot was with a pitching wedge from 161 yards out and sunk it on Hole 16.
Kole Kohut (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) placed 42
nd to lead the Blazers in the tournament with scores of 81 and 79. He totaled three birdies, two on the first 18 holes and then drained his shot on Hole 12 from 60 yards out in his final round.
Brady Leonard (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) shot a steady 165 for 21 over par in the outing and collected three birdies himself in 67
th.
Patrick Gogarty (Dagsboro, Del./Indian River) follows with a 171 good enough for 67
th and highlights his round with a birdie on Hole 15 in his first round of 18.
Caleb Dolan (Dumfries, Va./Potomac) rounds out the Blazers with two rounds under 90 and a birdie to boast on both days of the event.
On the Leaderboard
No. 23 Gettysburg scores a team 601 to take the team top spot.
Daniel Suter of Gettysburg shoots a sharp 73 on both 18's for two over par and the individual top spot.
Hood as a team shoots a 657 for their 36-hole score good for 14
th just one shot ahead of Susquehanna.
