How it Happened

- Flok netted his first on the day in the first settled offensive possession of the second quarter to tie things back up. Then with two minutes left unitl half time Rio Muldoon (Prince Frederick, Md./DeMatha Catholic) found the back of the net after receiving a pass from Lubrano. As both teams made their way to their team benches Hood led 2-3 at half.
- Starting out the third similar to the second the Blazers scored the first of the quarter as Wiley netted his second on the day. Two minutes later the Golden Wolves took a strike past Hood's goalkeeper to cut the lead back down to one point. Then before the quarter came to a close the Blazers went up three thanks to goals by Reagan Tesche and Lubrano. Heading into the final quarter of play Hood led 6-3.
- Alvernia not to be counted out put two in the back of the net to start the fourth and final quarter of the game. The Golden Wolves now down by one (5-6) to Hood had hopes of leaving Frederick with a win. Isiac Nafziger (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) had different plans as he responded to Alvernia with a rebound and score to bring Hood's lead back to two points. Colin McFadyen the offensive leader for the Golden Wolves snuck in his third goal of the game with two minutes and thirty-four seconds remaining. Wiley now noticing that McFadyen was the only other player in the game with a hat trick thought he might as well join him for three goals.
